Frank Curtin
Frank Curtin is a distinguished management consultant with a career spanning over 25 years, including a notable tenure at IBM. Over the past nine years, he has focused his expertise on empowering dental practice owners to overcome challenges and seize opportunities through strategic insights and guidance. His in-depth knowledge of dental practice management culminated in his acclaimed book, The Tale of Two Dentists: A Journey Through Endgame Planning. This pivotal work emphasizes the importance of exit planning for business owners at any stage, encouraging a holistic approach that integrates personal, business, and financial perspectives.
A visionary in his field, Frank is the creator of the TSG Method, a strategic framework specifically designed to meet the needs of dental practices. The TSG Method seamlessly integrates leadership development with business performance metrics, helping practice owners enhance both operational efficiency and leadership skills. It is particularly valuable for those in the early stages of developing their leadership capabilities. Utilizing tools such as DISC, Kolbe, and Working Genius assessments, the TSG Method fosters improved communication, stronger organizational culture, and holistic growth. Through applications like SOAR analysis and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), it provides structured guidance that drives personal and professional development without overwhelming practitioners. This tailored approach has made the TSG Method an indispensable tool for practitioners looking to elevate their practices.
Frank’s academic credentials further solidify his expertise. He holds an MBA from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, a Graduate Certificate in Administration and Management from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Kent State University. These accomplishments reflect both his commitment to lifelong learning and his ability to balance theoretical rigor with practical application.
Inspired by thought leaders like Dan Sullivan and Benjamin Hardy, Frank is a strong advocate for the power of collaboration and skilled team-building. He firmly believes that success is best achieved through collective effort rather than individual pursuits, and this philosophy is central to his approach. By fostering collaboration and surrounding oneself with the right individuals, he helps clients unlock their full potential and achieve extraordinary results.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Frank is deeply committed to giving back to the community and inspiring the next generation of leaders. He frequently delivers workshops and speaking engagements, sharing his insights to empower business owners and aspiring professionals alike. Through these efforts, he continues to make a meaningful impact, helping others maximize their opportunities and create fulfilling futures.
Frank Curtin’s innovative thinking, impressive experience, and dedication to excellence make him a trusted advisor for dental professionals seeking to strengthen their practices today and prepare strategically for what lies ahead.
